The 2001 Honda S2000 was largely unchanged from the first model year. A digital clock appeared in the radio display, the rear wind blocker became standard equipment, and the US domestic market lineup gained Spa Yellow as an exterior color. An aluminum hardtop became available as an optional extra in 2001. Car and Driver named it to its 10Best list for 2001, and the Type V steering variant announced in Japan the year before stayed on sale there. The sources used for this page record no other change specific to the 2001 model year.
