The 1998 Honda CR-X del Sol was the last model year, sold in Japan and Europe only, as production ended in North America with the 1997 model. In Japan the del Sol line had SiR models powered by a 170 PS 1.6 liter DOHC VTEC four cylinder with an optional limited slip differential, and Europe also had the premium VTi model with the same B16A engine. With the end of del Sol production in 1998, the CR-X line was retired.
