The 2004 model year included a new unnamed base short wheelbase model, which took the place of the departed Chrysler Voyager. The Chrysler Pacifica, built on the same RS platform, was introduced that year as a three row crossover of a size closely like the long wheelbase minivans. The Town and Country was built by Chrysler Canada at Windsor Assembly in Windsor, Ontario. It was sold with the 3.3 and 3.8 liter V6 engines.
