1941 Chrysler New Yorker

Automobiles

Lightly redesigned bodies were introduced for 1941, marginally wider and lower with more glass area, and the business coupe became a three window design. Another new model was the Town Sedan, with the rear doors hinged at the forward edge. The Vacamatic transmission was made available, but the Saratoga and New Yorker version was a three speed unit with overdrive called Cruise and Climb, unlike the one sold on six cylinder cars.
