Chevrolet Volt (first generation, 2011 to 2015)

Automobiles

The Volt production design was officially unveiled on September 16, 2008, as part of General Motors' centennial celebration in Detroit. It used the new global compact platform Delta II, shared with the 2010 Chevrolet Cruze, to keep costs reasonable. General Motors held a ceremony at its Detroit Hamtramck Assembly Plant on November 30, 2010 to introduce the first Volt off the assembly line. Its model years run from 2011 to 2015.
