The 2009 Chevrolet Traverse debuted at the 2008 Chicago Auto Show and arrived at every Chevrolet dealer in October 2008. The first Traverse was built at General Motors' Spring Hill, Tennessee, assembly plant during 2009, until production moved to the Delta Township, Michigan, plant in 2010. Its model years run from 2009 to 2017.
