1967 Chevrolet Impala

Automobiles

The 1967 Impala was redesigned with enhanced Coke bottle styling, with front and rear fender bulges inspired by the Corvette. Safety features were built in during 1967 and 1968, including an energy absorbing steering column, side marker lights and shoulder belts for closed models. The SS427 model was available from 1967 to 1969, and the L36 Turbo Jet V8 was optional that year. The SS427 was available on any two door Impala from 1967 to 1969 and included the 427 cubic inch V8, the F41 sport suspension, redline tires and SS 427 badges.
