For 2020 the diesel engine was discontinued because of low consumer demand, and all Equinox models now came standard with additional safety features, including forward collision alert, following distance indicator and lane keep assist. The Midnight Edition and Sport Edition packages became available on LT models, with blacked out trim, leather seating, 19 inch aluminum wheels and a blacked out Chevrolet bowtie, grille, fog lamp bezel surround and window trim.
