1993 Chevrolet Corvette

Automobiles

For 1993 Lotus designed changes to the cylinder heads, exhaust and valvetrain of the ZR1's LT5 engine raised its output from 375 to 405 horsepower. The 40th Anniversary package was available on all models, and because of a mistake on the drawings sent to the seat supplier, every 1993 Corvette has the 40th emblem embroidered on its seats. The revised LT5 produced 405 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 385 pound feet of torque at 5,200 rpm.
