The 1984 model year saw the return of the two door sport coupe, making a three model lineup, and the styling remained unchanged, with 1984 models virtually identical to the 1981 models. The powertrain availability and ratings were unchanged for 1984, and the 350 cubic inch diesel came standard with an automatic overdrive transmission when equipped in station wagons. The Pontiac Parisienne sold well enough to remain available until 1986 for the sedan.
