Changes to the 2012 Camaro included the 323 horsepower 3.6 liter direct injection LFX V6 and a new FE4 suspension package, and Crystal Red Tintcoat replaced Red Jewel. The supercharged 580 horsepower ZL1, unveiled at the 2011 Chicago Auto Show, joined the line, as did the 45th Anniversary edition and the COPO drag racing Camaro. The 2012 COPO Camaro was a limited production drag racing version for NHRA Stock Eliminator and Super Stock, with a Powerglide automatic and a choice of three engines, delivered from summer 2012 at the General Motors Performance Build Center in Wixom, Michigan.
