For the 2023 model year only the LT and Premier trims of the Bolt EUV were offered, at 28,795 and 33,295 dollars respectively. In mid 2023 General Motors officials said they would discontinue the Bolt, and after an outcry they announced plans for a next generation model. The Bolt of 2023 was the last first generation car, built at Orion Assembly. The 2023 Bolt carried on with fewer trims, and General Motors said it would end the model in mid 2023, though the Bolt was later revived.
