For 1975 the Riviera received an updated front fascia, which lost its forward jutting theme through the redesign of the fiberglass front end cap. Quad rectangular headlights were mounted horizontally. The Riviera was still the Colonnade pillared coupe introduced for 1974, built on the same E platform and sharing its basic body panels with the boat tail Riviera of 1971 to 1973. The 1975 car was the second year of the Colonnade style.
