1999 BMW Z8

Automobiles

The Z8 was showcased as James Bond's car in the film The World Is Not Enough, which was released in November 1999 from scenes shot in early April 1999, and the car was driven by Bond until it was sliced in half by a helicopter. It was a major piece of publicity for the new roadster, just after the E52 development was completed. Prototypes had been spotted on test roads between 1996 and 1999, and the film role brought the Z8 to a very wide audience. The exterior was by Henrik Fisker.
