The G45 is the fourth X3, unveiled on 19 June 2024 with sales from late 2024 for the 2025 model year in North America and Europe. It uses the CLAR platform with mild hybrid and plug in hybrid power but has no electric version on that platform, since the iX3 is now based on the Neue Klasse. Domagoj Dukec led its design, a long wheelbase X3 L for China followed, and it is built at Spartanburg and Rosslyn. Its model years run from 2024 to 2026.
