2006 BMW X3

Automobiles

For 2006 the American X3 lost its 2.5 liter M54 six cylinder engine, leaving the 3.0 liter 3.0i as the only model available in the United States from that year onwards, and the 2.5i was removed from sale there. In September 2006 the E83 received a facelift with revised headlights, grille, bumpers, tail lights and interior, while the Sport Package cars received the full M body kit. The facelift was shown in the autumn of 2006 for sale as a 2007 model.
