The second generation M2, the G87, was shown to the public ahead of its debut at Motorclassica in Melbourne, Australia, in October 2022, and launched in April 2023. It is available with a 6 speed manual or an 8 speed automatic transmission, with 0 to 100 km/h acceleration times of 4.3 seconds for manual models and 4.1 seconds for automatic models. It received a minor refresh for the 2025 model year. Its model years run from 2023 onward.
