For the 2026 model year BMW offers an M2 CS, which is not a limited production model, though as of 2025 fewer than 2,000 units were expected to be built in a single model year. For 2026 BMW will also build a limited production M2 Turbo Design Edition, in Alpine white with hand painted Motorsport stripes, a tribute to the BMW 2002 turbo. The M2 CS and the Turbo Design Edition were the offers for the year. The second generation was in its fourth year on sale.
