In February 2017 it was confirmed that the 6 Series coupe had ended production, and the F13 coupe models were produced until October 2017. The convertible and Gran Coupe continued, and in 2017 the new G32 6 Series Gran Turismo debuted in mid year, offered only as a fastback body, to complement the G30 5 Series sedan and wagon. The 6 Series coupe of the third generation had been produced from June 2011.
