In 1961 the model designations were changed again, to 2600 and 2600L, and the 3.2 and 3.2 Super were replaced by the 3200L and 3200S respectively. Power steering had become an option in 1959, and front disc brakes were added to the 2.6 Luxus in 1960. The cars were the same platform and body that had been introduced as the 501 in 1952. The 3200 models were the last of the line. Disc brakes had been added in 1960.
