2004 BMW 5 Series (E39)

Automobiles

E39 models remained in production until May 2004 even after the E60 had been launched in 2003, bringing the fourth generation to an end after nine years. The Alpina B10 V8 S, the last of the Alpina E39 variants, also ended its run in May 2004. The 5 Series continued with the E60 in saloon and Touring bodies. It was built mostly at Dingolfing, with complete knock down assembly in several countries including Mexico and Indonesia.
