A previously unavailable combination of the 430i with xDrive in the Gran Coupe body became available as a model year 2023 version, becoming the first 2023 model other than the electric iX SUV. The G22 range thus broadened for 2023, with the 430i, M440i and the M4 as the principal variants of the coupe, convertible and liftback bodies. Production of the car continued in several body styles, and the Gran Coupe offered the same set of engines and options.
