A Countryman estate model of the A55 Cambridge Mark II appeared in 1960. The Mark II was the first Farina model because of its Pinin Farina design, and was produced from 1959 through to 1961 by the Austin Motor Company. The A60 sold in Australia from 1959 was replaced in 1962 by a revised six cylinder model marketed as the Austin Freeway, produced by BMC Australia until 1965. The A55 Mark II was offered in the estate form too.
