Austin Ten (single generation)

Automobiles

The Austin Ten was a single long lived generation, launched on 19 April 1932 and Austin's best selling car in the 1930s. In 1933 the saloons were joined by an open two seater, the Open Road tourer, a Colwyn cabriolet and a van. A sports model, the 65 mph, 30 bhp Ripley, joined the range in 1934. A virtually new car was launched in May 1939 with a semi unitary body shell, restyled by the Argentine born Dick Burzi. Its model years run from 1932 to 1947.
