The Austin Ten continued in production in saloon form only until October 1947, to be replaced by the A40. It had been launched in 1932 and was Austin's best selling car of the 1930s, and the Ten, which had fitted between the baby Austin Seven and the Twelve, was succeeded by the A40 Devon and Dorset as the first post war saloons designed by Austin. The Ten had been Austin's best seller since 1932.
