The Renault PE is an agricultural tractor model produced by Renault from 1926 to 1939. During its career it went through many changes, including the adoption of lighting, a first for a Renault tractor, and pneumatic tyres, a first for a French tractor. Counting all versions, 1,840 were produced. Production began on 1 October 1926 at the Billancourt plant, replacing the type HO, and the last ones left the factory on 10 January 1939. The tractor is powered by a Renault four-cylinder inline petrol engine of 75 by 120 mm and 2,100 cubic centimetres, the same engine as in the Renault KZ car, with a power that varies from 15 to 20 hp depending on type and tuning. The manual gearbox has three forward gears, with a top speed of 11.4 km/h, and one reverse. The types are the PE of 1926, the PE1 of 1931, the PE12 of 1933 with lights and tyres, and the later PE2.
