Renault Ceres

The Renault Ceres was a tractor series from Renault Agriculture, the former agricultural machinery division of the French maker Renault. The compact tractors were built from 1993 to 2003 in four generations at the Le Mans plant, and under a cooperation Renault supplied the series in identical form to John Deere, where it was sold as the Series 3000. The Ceres range is marked by a modular construction and a reversing gearbox. The first generation (1993 to 1995) had MWM three and four-cylinder engines, and the Ceres 75 a four-cylinder Perkins; the second (1995 to 1998) changed to DPS engines of Deere Power Systems; the third (1998 to 2001) renamed the models with three-digit numbers, Ceres 310 to 340; and the fourth (2001 to 2003) was the last facelift series, Ceres 325 to 355. The gearbox is a Renault reversing gearbox with mechanical synchronisation, for 30 or optionally 40 km/h.
