Renault Celtis

Work and Industrial Vehicles

The Renault Celtis was a tractor series from Renault Agriculture, the former tractor division of the French car maker Renault. It went into production in 2003, the year Claas took over Renault Agriculture, and was continued by Claas under the name Claas Celtis; the company's own timeline lists the model among the releases of 2002. The Celtis starts at 90 hp and was meant to replace the Ceres in time. It is used above all for livestock farming and for work in the fields, and it is powered by a John Deere four-cylinder turbo engine of 4.5 litres. It belongs to the last generation of Renault tractors, which carried the names of ancient gods, before the Renault name was phased out in favour of Claas.
