Fiat 300

The Fiat 300 is a farm tractor built by the Italian maker Fiat Trattori between 1971 and 1978. It belongs to the Nastro Oro, or Gold Ribbon, series launched in 1968, which sold in huge numbers in every country where it was marketed or built, under the brands OM in Italy, Someca in France and Türk Traktör in Turkey as well as Fiat, and which was produced up to 2008 abroad in more than 500,000 examples. The 300 is a water-cooled two cylinder direct-injection diesel of 1727 cubic centimetres, bore 95 and stroke 110 millimetres, giving 31 horsepower at 2300 revolutions, with a power take-off turning at 540 revolutions. It weighs 1220 kilograms with fuel and loaded tyres and has a rear hydraulic lift of 770 kilograms. It remains sought after by old tractor enthusiasts for reliability and easy upkeep.
