McDonnell Douglas DC-10

Airliners and Commercial Jet Aircraft

The McDonnell Douglas DC-10 is a three engine wide body airliner introduced in 1971, built for long range routes that did not yet justify the largest widebody jets of the day. It saw wide airline and later cargo carrier use and its basic design was continued in the MD-11.
