The Curtiss JN-4, universally known as the Jenny, is an American biplane built by Curtiss Aeroplane Company and used as the primary trainer for American and Canadian military pilots during the First World War. After the war, thousands of surplus Jennies were sold cheaply to civilians and became the aircraft most associated with the barnstorming era of American aviation in the 1920s.
