Stellantis

Vehicle and Equipment Manufacturers

Stellantis is the multinational automotive group formed on 16 January 2021 when the French PSA Group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles merged, and renamed Stellantis the next day. Fiat Chrysler had itself been assembled in stages between 2009 and 2014 from the Italian Fiat and the American Chrysler. The company is headquartered in Hoofddorp in the Netherlands, while its chief executive works from Auburn Hills, Michigan. It markets vehicles under 14 brands: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram and Vauxhall. At the merger it employed about 300,000 people with manufacturing in 30 countries. In 2023 it bought a 20 percent stake in the Chinese electric vehicle maker Leapmotor.
