Envoy

Vehicle and Equipment Manufacturers

Envoy was an automobile brand created by General Motors of Canada to sell badge engineered, British built Vauxhall and Bedford vehicles on the Canadian market from 1959 to 1970. The name was first used on a version of the Vauxhall Victor F Series 2, sold through Chevrolet-Oldsmobile dealerships while the Vauxhall version went through Pontiac-Buick dealers, with different trim and equipment. Later Envoys followed the Victor FB, FC and FD, and the name was also used on the Bedford CA van and minibus. Envoy remained a trademark owned by Vauxhall and resurfaced in the 1990s as the entry level trim designation on various Vauxhall cars.
