Beechcraft

Vehicle and Equipment Manufacturers

Beechcraft is the brand of the Beech Aircraft Corporation, founded in Wichita, Kansas, in 1932 by Walter and Olive Ann Beech. Its first product was the Staggerwing biplane, and in 1947 it introduced the V-tailed Bonanza, one of the longest-produced light aircraft in history. The company also built the Baron light twin, the Musketeer trainer and the King Air family of turboprop executive aircraft, and it became a subsidiary of Raytheon and later of Textron.
