RATP Group

The RATP Group is a French state-owned enterprise that operates public transport systems primarily in Paris, France, with a growing presence internationally. It is headquartered in Paris and originally operated under the name Regie autonome des transports parisiens. It was established in 1949 with the express purpose of operating Paris's public transport system, and it runs the Paris Metro, the Ile-de-France tramways, the RATP bus network and part of the regional express rail network.
