The Dennis Eagle RAF Refueller was a specialist aircraft refuelling vehicle that Dennis Eagle built for the Royal Air Force after an 11.5 million pound order in 1998, with production listed from 1998 to 2000. It was based on the Elite 6x4 chassis with a 245 hp Cummins engine and an Allison 3000 series automatic transmission. The cab gave sleeping accommodation for two RAF crew members, storage for up to 350 kg of equipment, a microwave and a sink. Behind the cab, a fuelling pod held two hose reels, a water separator and a flow meter ahead of a 15,200 litre tank, and a four-wheeled drawbar trailer could add another 20,000 litres. The rig was designed to travel in a Hercules C130 and to work between minus 30 and 50 degrees Celsius, refuelling aircraft from Apache helicopters to Harrier jump jets.
