The Dennis Eagle Elite+ is a low-entry refuse collection chassis introduced in the UK in 2021 as the follow-on to the Elite 6. It keeps largely the same power train as the Elite 6 but has a redesigned cab with a flat interior, modern ergonomic controls and lower, more open access for the crew. The maker offers standard and narrow widths of 2,500 mm and 2,250 mm, in 4x2 and 6x2 layouts including mid-lift, mid-steer and rear-steer versions, with Volvo Euro 6 7.7-litre engines of 280 or 320 bhp and an Allison six-speed automatic gearbox. It is designed to work with Olympus bodies but accepts bodies from other makers, and Dennis Eagle says it rates higher than any other vehicle under the Direct Vision Standard devised by Transport for London.
