The Dennis Eagle Elite 6 is a low-entry refuse collection chassis launched in 2013 and named for its compliance with Euro 6 emissions rules. Its engine was developed in collaboration with Volvo, and a council that took delivery of one in 2014 said it cut oxides of nitrogen emissions by 80 per cent while adding an electronic braking system, stability control and sensors that warn the driver of nearby pedestrians or cyclists. Dennis Eagle built it in Warwick, and a right-hand-drive and dual-control version was unveiled in Australia in 2022 through Penske dealers. The maker also sold Elite 6 glider chassis to PVI for conversion to electric drive, and the eCollect electric truck is based on its architecture. More than 10,000 Elite chassis had been registered by 2025 since its launch.
