The Renault FT Kégresse, also called the FT Citroën-Kégresse, is a French light tank developed by Louis Renault and Adolphe Kégresse in the 1920s as a rebuild of existing Renault FTs, but produced only in limited numbers for the export market. The rebuild fitted the old tanks with a new suspension and Kégresse tracks made of rubber. A parallel product was the Renault NC, which used steel tracks, reinforced armour and a stronger engine. In 1925, 26 French FT tanks were rebuilt with rubber tracks and detachable rollers at the front and rear for trench crossing, and the change allowed a top speed of 17 kilometres an hour. Twenty-six tanks were modified for the French Army, and nine vehicles were later sold to Yugoslavia and five to Poland, along with some Renault NC.
