The Nissan Atleon is a truck produced by the Japanese company Nissan and sold through European dealer networks. Its line began when Nissan acquired a stake in the Spanish maker Ebro in 1980 and took it over entirely in 1987, after which the Ebro L and M series became Nissan models, built until 2000. A revised model from 1997 was sold as the Nissan ECO-T, sometimes with Atleon added, and the Atleon name was introduced in all markets only for the model built from 2000. From September 2000 until 2013 Nissan Motor Iberica built the Atleon in Barcelona, as a chassis, flatbed or box body truck, with a smallest 3.5 ton version that could be driven on a Class B licence. It first used direct-injection turbo diesel engines of types B660TiL, B660TiH and B440Ti, and a 2006 facelift adapted its front to the Nissan Cabstar F24.
