The Hyundai Super Medium Truck was a medium truck sold in South Korea that Hyundai Motor Company launched in October 1997 as the successor to the 91A medium truck. Early trucks used the D6BR engine first fitted to the first-series Aero Town and had the same separate tail lamps and mosaic grey and orange door decals as the 91A. From 2000 the engine changed to the KK engine (D6DA), the tail lamps became a single unit and the decals turned teal. In 2002 the axles changed from 6-pin to 8-pin and an Allison five-speed automatic became available, and in 2003 the side indicators changed. Trim levels were DLX, GOLD and SUPER, and bodies included 4x2 cargo trucks of 4.5 and 5 tonnes, dump trucks, fire trucks, water sprinklers, tankers and refuse trucks. It ended in June 2004 when the Mega Truck went on sale.
