Hyundai 4.5 to 5-ton truck

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The Hyundai 4.5 to 5-ton truck is a line of medium-duty commercial vehicles from Hyundai Motor Company, offered mainly as cargo trucks and dump trucks. The name covers two related models. The first was a cargo truck and dump truck designed by Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation, built from 1990 to 1995 and rebadged from the Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter. The second, called the New Model, was designed by Hyundai together with Mitsubishi Fuso and built from 1994 to 1997. Both came as 4.5 ton and 5 ton cargo and dump versions. Most medium-duty models carry a front Hyundai Truck badge, with the Hyundai and Mitsubishi Fuso badge usually on the rear. Its principal competitor in Japan, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and South America is the Kia Rhino.
