The Fiat 850T was a light commercial vehicle produced between 1964 and 1976 by the Turin carmaker Fiat as the replacement for the Fiat 600T. It used the innovations introduced with the Fiat 850 on the series 100 engines, where the 600T had used the 767 cubic centimetre engine of the Fiat 600 Multipla. Fiat had launched the 600T in 1962, a van with the engine and gearbox of the 600 Multipla, after the success of van versions made by bodyshops such as OM, Coriasco and Fissore. When the 850 appeared in May 1964 the 600T body needed some cosmetic changes, and the 850T took the new 843 cubic centimetre, 34 horsepower engine. A seven seat windowed version with four headlamps was called the Fiat 850 Familiare.
