MAN TGX

Trucks and Commercial Road Vehicles

The MAN TGX is a German heavy-duty long-haul tractor unit built by MAN Truck & Bus, introduced in 2007 as the flagship model of MAN's TG truck range, which also includes the smaller TGL, TGM and TGS models built for lighter-duty and construction applications. Built for international long-distance freight haulage, the TGX has been offered across successive generations with progressively updated cabs, engines and driver-assistance technology, and has competed directly with flagship long-haul models from other major European manufacturers including Mercedes-Benz, Volvo and Scania. The TGX line has also served as a basis for MAN's development of automated and platooning truck technology demonstrations, reflecting the model's role as the manufacturer's primary showcase for its most advanced heavy-truck engineering.
