The Hyundai Large Truck was a series of medium-heavy and heavy trucks that Hyundai Motor Company produced from 1977 under a technical agreement with Mitsubishi Fuso. The first generation, coded FV3 and called the 90A, arrived in 1978 as 10.5 tonne dump and 11 tonne cargo trucks and gained many special bodies by 1982. A full model change in December 1985, based on the Mitsubishi Fuso The Great, produced the second generation, coded FV4 and called the 91A, with the 320 horsepower 8DC9-1A (D8AY) engine; from then every model carried a licence-built Mitsubishi Fuso diesel. Headlamps changed from round to square in 1991, the oval Hyundai emblem appeared in May 1994, a 355 horsepower 8DC11 engine came in November 1993, a 60 tonne tractor in February 1994 and a 410 horsepower turbo intercooler cargo truck in November 1996. The Super Truck replaced the series from 1997.
