The UD Quon is a heavy-duty commercial truck built by the Japanese manufacturer UD Trucks, a company with roots in the former Nissan Diesel and now owned by the Isuzu Group. Built as UD Trucks' flagship heavy truck for long-haul and vocational use, the Quon replaced the manufacturer's earlier Big Thumb range and has been updated through successive generations with progressively more advanced diesel engines and safety technology. UD Trucks markets the Quon primarily in Japan and other Asian and Oceanian export markets, where it competes against similarly positioned heavy trucks from Hino, Isuzu and Mitsubishi Fuso.
