Tata Ace

The Tata Ace is a mini truck built by the Indian manufacturer Tata Motors, launched in 2005 as India's first indigenously developed light commercial vehicle in its class, aimed at small businesses and independent operators needing an affordable, maneuverable goods vehicle for short-haul urban and rural delivery. Built smaller and lighter than a traditional truck but with a fully enclosed cab and load bed, unlike the three-wheeled goods vehicles that had previously dominated this segment of the Indian market, the Ace opened up a new mini-truck category that other Indian and international manufacturers subsequently entered. The Ace became one of Tata Motors' most commercially successful models, widely credited with transforming last-mile goods transport across India's cities and smaller towns in the years following its launch.
