The Scania R-Series is a heavy-duty truck range built by Swedish manufacturer Scania, introduced in 2004 as the flagship of its truck lineup for long-distance haulage and heavy transport work. Built on Scania's modular design philosophy, which allows shared components across cab sizes and engine options to be configured for a wide range of operating needs, the R-Series became one of the most widely used flagship trucks in the European long-haul market and helped establish Scania's reputation for driver comfort and fuel efficiency in heavy commercial vehicles.
