Renault Magnum

The Renault Magnum is a heavy-duty long-haul truck built by the French manufacturer Renault Vehicules Industriels, later renamed Renault Trucks, produced from 1990 to 2013. Built with a distinctive flat-floor cab mounted above and ahead of the engine, an unusual layout among European heavy trucks of its era intended to maximize interior living space for drivers on long multi-day hauls, the Magnum became known among truck drivers for its comfortable, car-like cab environment. Renault Trucks became part of the Volvo Group during the Magnum's production life, and the model was eventually succeeded by the Renault Trucks T range, but the Magnum's cab-space-focused design left a lasting mark on later long-haul truck cab design across the industry.
