All Car-Free and Fare-Free Mobility Policy Concepts

Policies and movements that try to change who pays for travel and how much room cars take in cities, such as campaigns for car free city districts, and public transport funded entirely by taxes or sponsorship so that riders pay no fare. An entry belongs here when the cited article calls the concept a car free movement, a zero fare or fare free transport scheme, or a related urban mobility reform that aims to widen access to travel and reduce the dominance of private cars. It excludes studies of transport poverty and street design for all users, which belong with the transport equity concepts. Entries are placed by what their own cited article says, so each one sits in the narrowest group its source supports, and the group page lists it beside the other members.
